24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.
Mark 4:24 AMPC
What you put in is what you get out
We have reached the third to last day of the devotionals and we will go back over every devotional again. The more we study the commands of Jesus, the more revelation we will receive of our Lord. Every time I go back over through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John I see something new that I have not seen before and I get deeper revelation of Jesus.
Some people get bored with the Gospels but the Word of God is never boring and there is always deeper revelation that we can get when studying. What we put in is what we get out. If we spend more time studying the Word, then we will continue to grow and receive more revelation. Be encouraged and continue to grow in the commands of Jesus.
Study our Master Jesus and become more like our Master. A disciple is someone who follows and tries to become just like the Master in every way. We also should live and walk just like Jesus.
24 A disciple is not above his teacher, nor is a servant or slave above his master.
25 It is sufficient for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant or slave like his master. If they have called the Master of the house Beelzebub [master of the dwelling], how much more will they speak evil of those of His household.
Matthew 10:24-25 AMPC
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
1 John 2:3-6 KJV
